  • Job Summary:

    Titan Robotics, Inc. is looking for a Software Engineer on the Platforms and User Experience team with a passion for taming massively complex information architectures and systems. As part of this role, you will be tasked with distilling this information into a series of intuitive patterns and tools. You would work closely with our world class designers and engineers at Titan to collaboratively create tooling, interfaces, and architecture which enable end users of our systems to operate our systems in an intuitive, safe, and effective manner. Your work will directly influence how customers interact with Titan Robotics products and will help make advanced automation feel natural and intuitive.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Work closely with the software platforms and user experience team to influence the design and work to realize those designs into actual tools and patterns for use in our commercial facing products and platforms.

    • Design and build infrastructure in support of the UX/UI design patterns expanding the patterns for reusability within the engineering team.

    • Understand how to balance polish and finish with simplicity, safety, and industry standards.

    • Collaborate with our designers and engineers to implement visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces.

     

    Required Skills

    • 3+ years of hands-on software engineering experience in building business-critical and reliable systems.

    • Proven experience as an Engineer with a strong passion for creating intuitive and delightful user experiences.

    • Experience on building production software on a variety of platforms, eg: Desktop Apps, Web, AR, VR...etc.

    We want to see that you understand how to take an abstract concept and translate that into whichever technology platform makes the most sense for the user not whichever one you are most familiar with. This is absolutely critical to be successful in this role.

    • Examples of developing user interfaces and interactions for informationally complex systems or autonomous systems.

    • Experience designing alongside and for 3D interactions.

    • You’ll need to work with nearly all other engineering groups at Titan to develop the right solutions so excellent collaboration and communication skills is a must.

    • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

    • Have a strong background in software engineering design and data modeling concepts.

    You’ll partner directly with end users, internal full stack engineering teams, and business development teams to evaluate customer applications, define technical approaches, and develop automated process solutions using our advanced multi-tool robotic platform.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct on-site application evaluations with business development to understand customer challenges and identify automation opportunities.

    • Develop and optimize robotic process solutions for surface finishing applications — including abrasive selection, sequencing, and multi-tool integration.

    • Collaborate with business development to align technical solutions with customer objectives.

    • Communicate confidently with operators, engineers, and executive leadership across diverse industrial sectors.

    • Support system commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting both in-house and at customer facilities.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Robotic/Automation or Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent hands-on experience). Master’s degree preferred.

    • 3+ years of experience in robotics and automation — ideally within grinding, sanding, polishing, deburring, or related surface treatment applications.

    • Familiarity with robotic integration, toolpath programming, and process optimization for industrial automation.

    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills — comfortable interfacing with shop floor operators and senior leadership alike.

    • Ability to travel up to 35% (domestic, occasional international).

    aspects of projects. As a Systems Engineer, the candidate will learn about our business,

    what technology gaps exist. The Systems Engineer will aid in the development of internal and
    external system requirements and aid in the design of solutions for customer needs. The
    candidate will be the technical interface between Titan and the customers. The candidate must
    have experience in industrial automation and/or robotic systems to enable efficient and precise
    communication with customers to understand constraints, design solutions, and assist with
    drafting proposals.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Design industrial electrical systems based on system requirements and project scope.

    • Develop engineering drawings including electrical panel layouts, power distribution, networking, safety circuits, digital/analog I/O, and cable schedules.

    • Generate and manage Bill of Materials (BOM) throughout the project life cycle.
